How To Disable Auto Play Videos On Facebook

Recently, Facebook changed the way videos are published on the timeline of its members. Now they start to play automatically, so they are displayed.

But not everyone welcomes this change. A portion of the users feel uncomfortable with videos playing suddenly, sometimes someone may have forgotten the headphones over his ears at high volume, for example, which would give a beautiful scare the user if display a video posted by someone on Facebook. Not to mention the unnecessary consumption of data on 3G or 4G .

To avoid these and other uncomfortable situations, Facebook released an option to disable automatic playback of videos from the timeline. Check out how to proceed.

1 – On the Home page of your profile, click the arrow in the upper right corner and go to the Settings menu:


2 – On the next screen, click the Videos menu:

3 – The second option on this screen, AutoPlay Videos is enabled by default. Just switch to Off and go!

With this simple procedure videos will no longer bother you in your leisure time on the social network.
