Technology has reached a state where making phone calls is far from one of the most frequently used functions. Instead, people use their phones to see things on the web, to access social networks and, of course, take pictures and videos. So manufacturers invest much time and effort to equip their camera phones quality.
To test the camera with the iPhone 6 and iPhone 6 Plus has chosen some of the best smartphones today. These are the Samsung Galaxy S5, LG G3, Nokia Lumia 1520, Sony Xperia Z2, HTC One (M8). And do not forget the previous flagship Apple, iPhone 5s.
Apple, in particular, has been trying to improve their iPhones camera with each new generation.
The cameras in iPhone 6 and iPhone 6 Plus have identical performance. Daytime photos have come out splendid, and we see no difference in quality between the pictures of the two phones. In addition, the reproduction of colors in the pictures of the iPhones is excellent. The colors are vivid and pleasing to the eye, without being disproportionate, and other cameras tend to do.
The iPhone 5s is not far away. The colors in the photos are a bit warmer and much more saturated, however within tolerable limits. And we like how the sky looks blue, has been captured naturally appear not overexposed.
Taking pictures with the LG G3 generates brilliant, colorful pictures. Possibly their color saturation may not have been so intense, but we are. Some scenes appear colder or warmer than they should, but they are good pictures.
The Nokia Lumia 1520 has great potential and is one of the best in this race, but the results are rather inconsistent. Some of the photos have excellent color balance and accuracy, while others are excessively hot or cold.
The flagship of Sony, the Xperia Z2 , has their own opinion about things. In particular, the camera keeps its saturation to a neutral level, with a slight pale tone in several scenes. This might attract some people, but those who prefer a little more dynamism in their images might not like.
The camera of the Samsung Galaxy S5 has a tendency to lean toward the cooler side, as is typical in most Samsung cameras. It is especially noticeable in reds, displayed some slightly pink. The color saturation is slightly high, but looks good.
The HTC One (M8) could have done better. Some scenes have their neutral colors shown, but in others, there are some very poorly reproduced. In the samples below, appear yellow orange tones, yellow tones appear white and blue sky is not natural. Also, you can see that your camera gets too saturated colors in cloudy scenes.
